A 90-YEAR JOURNEY

1934
Foundation

The Ambrosi Eduino Precision Mechanical Workshop is founded by Eduino Ambrosi in Gardolo (Trento), specializing in the overhaul of machine tools for iron and wood.

1937
Technological innovation

Eduino Ambrosi designs and creates the turret lathe, with hundreds of units sold, entirely produced at the Gardolo (Trento) site.

1950s
International expansion

Development of an automated milling machine for drill bits, which leads the AEG (Ambrosi Eduino Gardolo) brand to become known in Europe and Latin America.

1971
Generational change

Cesare Ambrosi takes over management, launching a process of production and managerial modernization that favors corporate expansion.

1999
New production site

A new facility is inaugurated with modern production spaces and CNC machinery. The company becomes the official representative of the WIDIA-NEDERLAND B.V. brand.

2007
UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 Certification

The company has obtained quality certification, ensuring that the finished products meet the highest standards.

2016
New machinery

The company upgrades its production processes by purchasing new machinery specifically designed for machining large tools.

2020
new sharpening facility

New operational headquarter for the sharpening department. Thanks to this investment, the company also expands its mechanical division, further increasing the space at the Via Paludi site.

2023
Two specific brands

After extensive analysis and development, the two brands “Ambrosi Tools” and “Ambrosi Mech” are created to further and more effectively diversify the two divisions in which the company operates.

2025
new 5-axis machining center

Ambrosi expands its range of machinery with 2 modern 5-axis machining centers, the new DMF300 and DMU 50, thereby strengthening the mechanical division.
